It has been snowing for a long time. Long as if me love you long time that kind of long. Snow itself is not a bad thing even though it is kind of hard to walk - you can have snowball fight, you can make snow dessert, you can hide yourself under the 10+ inch of snow (for whatever reason), etc. Now people said Vancouverites are never prepared for snow, always complain about snow etc. I see now why. It rains a lot here. Rain is to snow is like gunpower is to fire or like Group 1 metal to water - a recipe for disaster. See, when it rains it creates slushies everywhere and that's like a mini-flood especially after it has been snowing for 3-4 days. The worst comes when it stops raining. The melted snow freezes again into ice and so you end up skating here and there with normal shoes. Everytime I walk I have to pray to FSM so that he doesn't deliver me too early.

But anyway I had a snowball fight this winter. It was short but quite sweet and we made an abominable snowman after that. I even have to borrow a friend's glove. It wasn't as intense as I thought it would be. For one, the snow was way too powdery to be a powerful weapon, only powderful. And I couldn't bring myself to spit into the snowball to upgrade my weapon. After that we drank hot chocolate, eat popcorns, and play mahjong.
